Two fighters are in the middle of a caged brawl. One of them is our main character, Alex "Slick" P. The other, is Miracle "Smith".
Alex: You are one tough bastard.
Miracle: Shut up and fight!
Miracle swiftly throws two jabs at Alex and Alex miraculously dodges both.
Alex: I hope you know I have no intention of losing whatsoever!
Miracle then jumps up into the air and landing a quick left hook to the face.
Alex fumbles down to the ground.
Miracle jumps ontop of Alex giving him punch after punch to the temple.
The referee then pushes Miracle off of Alex and calls a countdown to 10.
Miracle slowly walking around the ring, breathing heavily, raises his hand into the air as the crowd goes wild.
Referee: 1!
The crowd screaming violently.
Referee: 2!
Miracle: I'm takin this!
Referee: 3!
Miracle then raises both his hands and gives a screech of happiness.
Referee: Fou-
Alex is seen slowly getting up.
Referee: What the? Kid stay down, there's no way your gonna win!
Alex: I didn't come here to give up.
Miracle doesn't hear the referee's countdown, so he slowly turns around his head.
Miracle does not believe his eyes.
Alex gets up fully.
Alex: This isn't over, not by a mile.
Miracle: This bitch.
Referee: You've got balls kid. I'll give ya that.
Alex hears the crowd going crazy for his bravery.
Miracle looks around and sees that everyone is rooting for him.
Someone screams out Alex's name.
Alex turns around.
His view is not clear enough to see who it is, but he sees a figure standing smiling. His eyes focused on the lips as they moved and he could make it out to say "You can do it".
Alex smiles, his adrenaline comes back on, he's ready to fight.
Miracle behind him strikes Alex to the head with his most strongest punch, knocking Alex down.
The entire crowd is silent.
Before Alex faints, he sees the figure once again. His vision more blurry than last time.
Referee bends over to see Alex's face. Alex was knocked out.
The crowd went wild, most of the crowd was upset.
A security guard opens the cage as a couple of medics run into the cage to transfer Alex to the nearest hospital.
Miracle looks down at Alex and smirks.
The referee is disgusted by Miracle, due to cheap blow from behind.
Miracle leaves the cage as his manager and coach approach him with sheer happiness.
Alex awakens in the hospital.
Alex: Where am I?
Nurse: Your in a hospital.
Alex: What happened?
Nurse: You were knocked out and you were asleep for two hours.
Alex: Is that bad?
Nurse: We've seen worse.
The nurse looks up.
Nurse: There was one time where a victim was knocked out for about 2 weeks from the same person as you.
Alex: Miracle.
Nurse: Your lucky to be awake so early. So it's a good thing.
Alex: I guess.
Nurse: Don't look so disappointing, cheer up. You'll get another shot at him.
Alex: I hope so, I'm not letting him get away after winning.
Nurse: I wish you luck, but for now you must recover in your bed.
Alex: By the way, what's the last victims name?
The nurse bites her lip and squints her eyes.
Nurse: His name was, I think it was, Tim. I'm not sure though.
Alex: Tim. Do you know where he lives?
Nurse: No, we are not allowed to give out private information.
Alex: I need to ask him some questions, that's all.
Nurse: Well, one things for sure. Tim can never fight again. He had a huge head trauma and he's still recovering up until this day.
Alex: When did he fight Miracle anyway?
Nurse: About 3 months ago.
Alex: Damn, I can't believe I lost.
The nurse looks at Alex's application signed by his coach.
Nurse: Well looks like your not bad. You have 17 wins, and 1 loss. This is your first loss.
Alex: Yeah.
Nurse: That's pretty amazing, even for a professional.
Alex: I used to fight a lot back in the day, and I was trained well.
The nurse looks interested, she continues looking throughout Alex's application.
Alex: Is something wrong?
Nurse: No, quite the opposite. It says here that you are 23 years old. Is that true?
Alex: Yeah. I just turned 23 about 1 month ago.
The date is January 12th, 2017.
Alex got aroused in curiosity.
Alex: What's your name?
Nurse: My name is Bella.
Alex: How old are you Bella?
Bella: A woman never gives out her age.
Alex: But in this situation, you can make an exception.
Bella: I'm 22.
Alex: Well, Bella, when I recover from all this, would you mind to hang out someplace?
Bella: I'd love too.
Alex: Great!
Alex's head starting hurting.
Bella: Lay down, your still not recovered. You need some sleep.
Bella rose the covers up to Alex's neck and left the room.
Alex was reminiscing but all he could remember was that faded blurry figure that he saw smiling at him before he fainted.
Alex: At least...I...didn't...give...up.
Alex fell asleep.
